San Jose

San Jose, although not as well known as Cabo San Lucas, definately offers more when it comes to outdoor activities and shopping. In it´s city center you will find many charming little art shops, cafes and bars. The beaches are by far nicer then the ones in San Lucas and the waves make it a paradise for surfers. Only a short drive to the north begins the East Cape, a strech of coastline where you see the real beauty of the Baja´s nature unspoilt. While in San Jose the waves are still quite high, along the East Cape a line of reefs streches out and calms down the strong currents. This makes it a paradise for snorkelers, divers and it´s a great place for a family day out on the beach as the water is calm and everybody can enjoy the refreshing cool water.
