One of the reasons people love to fly to the Baja, is because is relatively close to home. Getting here is easy enough with the many flights arriving and departing daily at Los Cabos International Airport (SJD) at San Jose del Cabo. Also, the La Paz airport is about 8 miles out of downtown La Paz. If traveling from the west coast, there are several daily direct flights from Phoenix, Los Angeles and Seattle.

Once arriving to any of those destinations, people can choose to take a short drive to the East Cape for white sandy beaches and the opportunity it presents for a great array of watersports. If going directly to Cabo, the Los Cabos airport is located 13 km (8 miles) north of San Jose and 48 km (29 miles) northeast of Cabo San Lucas.
