I was born in La Jolla, California in 1949. I was raised in Oceanside, California. I graduated from United States International University, in La Jolla, California with a
Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Behavior and Management.

From 1979 to 1986 I was employed in the corporate restaurant industry. Last position,
Regional Training Manager for El Torito Restaurant’s in San Diego, California.

From 1986 to 1995 I was self-employed as the President of Rockwell-Ortega, LLC.,
A manufacturing brokerage, primarily placing American manufacturing in Mexico.

In 1995 I moved to Cabo San Lucas and married my wife, Lidia Moreno.
After working as a sales agent for Century 21 for 10 months, I moved to Plutarco Elias Calles and opened Costa Pacifico Real Estate. In November, 2003, Lidia and I joined the Coldwell Banker-Riveras Realtors team.
