Desperate Times Call for Desperate Measures.

There’s no other way to put it, this last month has been… well, different, to say the least. What started as a health threat in China has made its way through all of our lives and has turned us upside down. The combination of Oil prices dropping, the Global economy slowing down, people staying home and canceling travel, events, vacations, not to mention people returning home to be in quarantine, has shown us (once again) how fragile life is. Yet, it all proves that the human spirit is greater than any threat.

Here at Coldwell Banker Riveras, we have been in constant communication with all of our clients and guests. We have been assuring them that in Baja California Sur, we’re doing our best to be as proactive as we can.
Working from home is a new and a very interesting challenge and like you, we are all taking this one day at a time. What is most important to us is that we can show you, that when this is over (because this too shall pass), we will be back on our feet doing what we do best, providing excellent service to our foreign and national visitors that call Baja California Sur HOME.
Here at Coldwell Banker Riveras our strategy is simple, we will continue to focus on the good, and the beauty of what makes Baja California Sur the place that you have always loved to visit. The following are just a few of our reasons of why planning now to visit us in the future months is a great idea.

    Location, location, location.

The old real estate adage has never been more accurate. The many different cities throughout Baja California Sur offer a wide array of picture-perfect views and activities for the entire family. You can spend the day at the beach, go for a morning hike, have an oceanside tee time, go fishing early, walk the streets, admire different galleries, enjoy a fresh fish taco with a cold beer or enjoy poolside margaritas and watch your children play in the sand. You can also learn how to surf, take an unforgettable sunset picture with your loved ones, plan your destination beach wedding or plan your 50th Birthday celebration… are you following me? Oh, and did I say you can do all of this (and much, much more) in Cabo, San Jose, La Ribera, Los Barriles, La Paz, Todos Santos and Cerritos?

There has never been a better time to visit and invest in Baja California Sur.

Yes, literally right now is the best time to plan. Summer is around the corner which means that this is time to pack those flip flops, shorts and summer dresses and come and enjoy the amazing weather that we have. With everything that’s going on, the Real Estate market continues to offer a significant array of condos, houses and different commercial options to invest in. Many of these investments start at the mid $100K! There are different financing options for both nationals and foreigners, and with technology on our side, we can do a full property tour with only a phone app!

If you were wondering – with the proper sanitary precautions, our local stores are operating.

Gas stations are open, many restaurants are offering take out, vacation rental hosts are offering promotions for a longer rental period and there are several empty beaches where you can do social distancing in style. We have been your home away from home in the good times, we are certainly here in these trying times.
In closing, I quote Dave Hollis “In the rush to return to normal, use this time to consider which parts of normal are worth rushing back to”
Take your time to fall back into your routine. We are all happy and ready waiting for you.
