What’s new in Todos Santos?
The town is buzzing with the anticipation of Thanksgiving and the store owners are preparing for the shoppers on Black Friday. Even though we live in Mexico, we celebrate Thanksgiving with turkey and all the trimmings, but with a Mexican twist. This Thursday, for example, I’m attending a pot luck dinner and bringing Twice-Baked Sweet Potatoes with Chipotle Pecan Streusel (I found the recipe on the net by typing baked yams with chipotle).
To work off all the calories from Thanksgiving consider attending Dancing Under the Stars–the 2nd Annual fund raiser for the Youth in Video program sponsored by the Todos Santos Latino Film Festival. The event will be hosted at El Hotelito  and tickets are available at La Esquina and Tecolote Book Store.

This past July I had the good fortune of teaching an introductory photography workshop to seven scholarship recipients from the Palapa Society. The proceeds from the last year’s benefit at El Hotelito enabled the sponsors to earn enough money to buy digital cameras for the students to use at the workshop, and continue on with their videography courses. This year’s benefit will be a fun filled evening and look forward to seeing everyone out on the dance floor. And what is new in Real Estate in Pueblo Magico Todos Santos?
