Today’s update from Todos Santos is brought to you by Alvaro Colindres, Coldwell Banker Riveras Sales Associate in Todos Santos.
What is new in Todos Santos today?
After a weeklong or celebration from Todos Santos’ annual Fiestas Tradicionales, the town feels muy tranquilo, but underneath that tranquil exterior there’s lots of news to share:
Last week I closed on Casa Privada at $285K–contemporary 2 Bed 2 Bath on 1/4 acre lot in La Maquina area. The buyers got a great house at a great price and the family is looking forward to taking a break from the northern winters. They’re shipping a container of furnishings from the USA and I’m guiding them through the process of applying for their FM3/migratory documents, setting up checking accounts with the same bank that holds their Fideicomiso and transferring the utilities into their names. I also lined up a gardener, landscaper and housekeeper for them and preparing the house for their arrival.
Many of the local restaurants, which have been closed most of the summer, are reopening for the new season with exciting new menu items:
Zen Garden Cafe has revamped their entire menu and introducing new dishes such as Fresh Spring Rolls, Organic Greens and Arrugula salad, Hearty Chicken Vegetable Soup with Rice Noodles and spicy Currys. Look for their colorful purple logo driving into town from Cabo. http://zengardencafe.com/
Located in the famous Todos Santos Inn, Landi’s Restaurant, is serving up classical Mexican specialties from her home state of Guerrero, and her moles are some of the best around! Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. http://www.todossantosinn.com
At Mario’s Bar at El Hotelito, they are expanding their menu to include a new range of sushi rolls, sashimi salad with organic leaves, brochettes of marinated chicken or arachera steak, and specials served Friday and Saturday evenings. Also mark your calendars for Saturday November 27 for El Hotelito’s second annual “Dancing Under the Stars”— an evening of high energy dancing with DJ–benefitting the Youth in Video Program. http://www.thehotelito.com
With all the fine restaurants in town, we could certainly use a gym to work off all the calories, so anyone looking to start up a business in TS, we can certainly use a well equipped workout center. So that’s the latest from Todos…
¡Hasta la próxima vez!
