Cabo San Lucas Real Estate & News, Nov 28th, 2010

Today’s news from Cabo San Lucas is brought to you by Rebeca Curiel, our Sales Associate for Coldwell Banker Riveras in Cabo San Lucas.

Dear friends,

One thing that is definitely new in Los Cabos is the weather. As the local stores are sparkling with the Christmas lights and décor, in the evenings we are feeling the cool winter breeze, which is so typical of the season. So if you are planning to visit us, remember to bring your sweater or light jacket!

It is also that time of the year where we get to do a fun activity benefiting our ecosystem: turtle release! Several groups have been organizing the release of Ridley Turtle into the Ocean. Just last week, Fundación Lety Coppel had a group of fifth year students from Nueva Creacion School in the beaches of Pueblo Bonito Pacifica Hotel. They had a nice talk about the importance of caring for this turtle and were able to release them into the sea, just as the sky showed a beautiful sunset.

And if you want to participate in one of Cabo’s most anticipated event, be sure to mark your calendar for Friday December 10th as the annual Dressed to the K-9 dinner party will take place at Quinta Cangrejo in Punta Ballena. Year after year, this charity event is filled up with delicious food and drinks that benefit the Los Cabos Humane Society. Theme for this year is VEGAS – the glitz and glamour that was synonymous with the 60’s rat pack era at Las Vegas clubs & casinos will be recreated at the equally stylish Quinta Cangrejo. For tickets and more information click here.
