You´ve asked yourself thousands of times, where should I go this summer? What would be the perfect plan to spend time with family and friends this season? From North to South, these are our recommendations.

La Paz

This beautiful city combines beaches, colorful plazas and an extensive Malecon (which is almost five kilometers long) that will leave you breathless with its fantastic sunsets. La Paz has a lot to offer thanks to its rich marine life on the Sea of Cortez (considered the “Aquarium of the World”). Can you imagine being able to fish, kayak, watch sea lions, dolphins, manta rays and snorkel with the biggest fish in the world? In La Paz it’s possible! If you have an adventurous spirit there are tours where you can explore the sand dunes, mangroves, visit a sea lion colony and keep close to nature camping outdoors.

East Cape

The group of towns and beaches along the Sea of Cortez in a stretch that runs from 120km south of La Paz to 60km north of San Jose del Cabo is known as Baja’s East Cape. Together, they create a great tourist destination including the communities of Punta Pescadero, Los Barriles, Buena Vista, La Ribera, Los Frailes, Cabo Pulmo and others.

Without a doubt, aquatic activities are the main attraction. Rookies and pros alike of various sports have unforgettable vacations thanks to the crystal clear and calm water with its immensely rich marine life.

San Jose del Cabo

San Jose del Cabo will take you back in time, while still offering you the most modern amenities. The main spot is the Plaza, in front of the old and legendary Mission church. Located in the Historic District, the plaza is a pleasant place to relax surrounded by art galleries, shops and renowned restaurants.

This destination is for relaxing, spending time without rushing or distractions in mind. You will find all of this with a quiet and discreet elegance along with the friendly smiles of the locals.

Cabo San Lucas

Here you can play the best golf in the world over oceanfront cliffs and with a bit of luck, watch humpback whales breach while you play. You can also make the most of a day of fishing and discover why the Marlin put Cabo on the world tourist map. Scuba lovers find big treasures: sand falls, diving with manta rays, schools of fish so big they look like skyscrapers and endless adventures at Land’s End. Tour operators have developed new adventures for adrenaline junkies: quad rides, horseback riding, bungee jumping, and hiking – there are options for everyone!

Todos Santos

This Magic Town on the Pacific captivates from afar. The encounter of cultures is a daily occurrence and visitors are fascinated by the intense artistic life that take place in its galleries, festivals and by the subtle bewitchment of its streets and surrounding beaches.

Meanwhile, tangled with the soft aromas of the desert, the kitchens of Todos Santos produce amazing dishes as they host some of the most renowned and traditional restaurants throughout the Baja.

It is impossible not to mention Cerritos beach near Todos Santos. It is one of the most perfect settings to surf and camp. There are several options to stay, from luxury hotels to beach camping. Also available is equipment rentals, surfing classes and everything you need to turn any afternoon into an extraordinary moment.

Now that you know a bit more about Baja California Sur, where would you like to visit first?
