Located at the end of the Baja California Peninsula, Los Cabos has become a top tourist destination in Mexico and in the world. Its unique features separate it from the rest. What makes this destination so special, you might ask, well here’s just a few reasons why:

Perfect Weather

To begin, Los Cabos offers sunny weather year round. It’s sunny almost every day throughout the year, so you don’t have to worry about your beach vacay getting ruined by gloomy weather. Whether your swimming in the ocean or diving in the pool, Los Cabos offers perfect weather to do so with an average degree during high season (October to May) ranging from 60-91°F, and during the low season (June to September) ranging from 65-100°F. The city expects rainfall from September through October, but rainy days are rare and very scarce, additionally, the city is not prone to hurricanes or tropical storms. Expect vacation friendly weather year round.

Unmatched Beaches

Since it’s always sunny, you need an ideal spot the get that perfect tan, and there’s no better place than the many beautiful beaches Los Cabos has to offer. The beaches in Los Cabos are still somewhat undiscovered and attract people from around the world for many reasons: the white sand, the crystal-clear turquoise waters, the amenities, the cleanness, and the best part, that some are basically deserted.

If you’re looking for a beach with restaurants, bars, partying, and even spas, check out El Medano. With a view of the Land’s End, this beach is the most popular in Los Cabos and it’s guaranteed you’ll have a blast.

You can rent jet skis and glass bottom-boat trips to see Los Cabo’s famous arch. If you’re interested in gazing at awe-inspiring nature and snorkeling with colorful fishes, check out Playa del Amor or Lover’s Beach. Its famous for its caves and rock formations and you can snorkel with vibrant colored species.

If you need a beach to walk, run, and everything in between, check out Solmar, which is famous for sunrise and sunset watching, and whale watching, but keep in mind you should not swim here due to its dangerous waters. And there are many others: Playa Palmilla, Chileno, Santa-María, Acapulquito, and so forth.

Don’t forget your sunscreen because the sun is blazing, and also watch over your little ones in the water because there are usually no lifeguards.

Vivid Nightlife

While visiting Cabo you have to experience the nightlife, let loose with the Spring Break style party life. Many of Cabo’s famous night clubs are located along the main strip, and everything is walking distance, some of the most popular nightclubs include Cabo Wabo, The Squid Roe, Mandala, The Nowhere Bar, La Vaquita, El Abolengo and many others. Each has its one party style, so we recommend bar hopping amongst all. What’s so special about Cabo is that it doesn’t have to be nighttime to have a great time. There are many day clubs such as Omnia and Blue Marlin Ibiza where you can lounge by the pool with great music and drinks.

Outstanding Cuisine

Dining in Los Cabos is indescribable, when visiting you have to sample the many award-winning delicacies it has to offer. Choosing where to eat out will definitely be hardest thing you’ll have to do on your trip. There are hundreds of restaurants to choose from, ranging from every kind of cuisine you could imagine.

Farm-to-table cuisine is very popular in Baja, enjoy fresh seafood, and fruits, vegetables, and herbs picked from the restaurant’s own garden. Some restaurants specializing in this style are Flora Farms, Acre, and Los Tamarindos.

Another popular trend is Pan-Pacific, where chefs combine ingredients from the Pacific, ranging from Perú to Japan. The main ingredient of this cuisine is fresh seafood which is normally sourced from local fishers. Some famous restaurants using this trend are Nick-San and Pitahayas.

Los Cabos has truly become a mecca for foodies, dining here will be an exhilarating experience for all your senses.

Cultural Experience

Not only does Los Cabos offer great food and an amazing nightlife, it is divided in two towns separated by a 22-mile highway, Cabo San Lucas and San José del Cabo. While most of Cabo’s main attractions are in San Lucas, we highly recommend you visit San José to gain an insight on authentic Mexican culture. In San José, the historic downtown is very charming and we recommend you visit a Jesuit church that has been around since the 17th century. Also, don’t forget to visit downtown on a Thursday night.

From November to June, the downtown gallery district offers an Art Walk, where you can visit many high-end painting, sculpting, and photography galleries, while enjoying a glass of wine and live music.

The list could go on and on, but we hope the above reasons are more than enough for you to visit. We promise you won’t regret it!
